Wooden displays can be used for different purposes. It is a unique presentation tool, but it can also serve as a means of transport. The possibilities are endless. In our showroom we can show various options.

How does it work?

De Kistenfabriek produces tailor-made and tailors the wishes of the customer. No display is standard! The great advantage of a wooden display with respect to a cardboard display is its strength and flexibility. As a result, smaller numbers, from about 50 pieces, can also be produced and the delivery time is relatively short.

In addition, we always use Northern Scandinavian pine wood from production forests, so that your product is always presented in sustainable wood!

Who went before you?

In the 35 years that we have focused on wooden displays, many well-known players in the market have preceded you. For example, we make displays for Tony Chocolonely, the special beer brand La Trappe and the pastries from Peijnenburg. We also make displays for stores abroad such as the Carrefour in France, the Rewe in Germany or Morrisons in the UK. These are just a few examples of companies that use our services to the satisfaction of our customers.

Personalized wine boxes and gift packaging

As a customer you have the choice between the various standard wine boxes for, for example, 1, 2 or 3 bottles of wine. You can choose between a carpentry or a sliding lid. We can also personalize the wine box through the various printing options. De Kistenfabriek works on the basis of orders and has virtually no crates in stock, but because production takes place in-house in the Netherlands, we can supply you quickly.

Production and process

The crates ordered by you are manufactured by us mechanically or semi automatically in Lisse, where after two to three weeks your order will be ready! In this way we have been working for years with well-known Dutch companies such as the Librije or Wijnkoperij Henri Bloem restaurant.

Customized export crates

De Kistenfabriek manufactures export crates for transporting goods to the wishes and needs of the customer. We do not care whether we have to manufacture a wooden box for an aircraft engine or a smaller product, we provide the service you need us for. After production we deliver the boxes in its entirety, so you only have to place the product and put it on transport.

ISPM 15 certification

All North Scandinavian pine used by us has undergone heat treatment according to the ISPM 15 standard. This means that the wood is free of all forms of vermin. Thanks to this treatment, our wooden boxes can be transported worldwide without problems.

Agricultural boxes

Because the Kistenfabriek only work on the basis of orders and do not deliver from stock, all our products are made to measure and to the wishes of the customer. As a customer you can therefore pass all your wishes in terms of size or model, without losing sight of the well-known “Bakker-quality”.

Whichever version you are looking for, for example a suction model, at Kistenfabriek Bakker you are always at the right address for your agricultural boxes at a competitive price.

After we have discussed the desired version, the crates are produced in our factory in Lisse. All parts of the box are made from Nordic Scandinavian pine. Completely sustainably cut from production forests of so-called slow-growing trees, which benefits the firmness of the coffin.

One customer needs pallets for single use for export purposes, for example, while another requires new pallets for multiple internal use. In your search for such a pallet or other custom pallets, you are at the right address at the Kistenfabriek. We make all types of pallets on request of the customer. Not from stock, but completely according to your wishes. As a result, you are always assured of the custom-tailored pallet for your situation.

Pallets for export and logistics

We can also produce suitable pallets for export or logistics. All North Scandinavian pine used by us is treated according to the IPMS 15 standard, which guarantees these pallets worldwide transport. These pallets are of course completely made to the wishes of the customer and suitable for every form of logistics.

We have been producing traditional auction boxes for more than a hundred years, and since 2014 we have also proudly been awarded the title of supplier to the Royal Household. Because we work on order and not on stock at the Kistenfabriek, all our crates are specially produced. We make the box the way you want it! We do this for the supplier of organic meal boxes Willem & Drees and fruit boxes from, among others, Vitamine & Zo.

The animal transport stalls of the Kistenfabriek

Thanks to years of experience in producing transport stalls, you are at the right address for every animal transport stall. For example, we make stables for various domestic and foreign clients for, among other things, pig and cow transport. If desired, we can produce these stables for lowerdeck or maindeck. A contour side is also possible.

All North Scandinavian pine used by us is treated according to ISPM 15 certification. This allows our products to be used worldwide without problems. In addition, all our products meet the conditions set by IATA for the transport of animals.

Another advantage of crates from the Kistenfabriek is that we are in close contact with Schiphol and air freight transporters such as Martinair. Because of this you as a customer are assured of a fast and well arranged transport.
